The Mac Book Pro, now currently at its third generation has blown people away with its simple but worthwhile innovations towards the actual laptop in the past years.
The first generation, which was a 17-inch Mac book Pro, was announced by Apple Genius, Steve Jobbs on January 10th 2006. This brought great interest and plenty of attraction to customers. Several updates were added as the years followed.
Because technology is always ahead and advancing at a higher level, obviously there were many updates made to make the appearance stunning, the features even better than before, the sizes improved, the great quality and gloss of the screen and much more.
For the first generation of the Mac, the 17-inch model replaced the PowerBook G4 and then in years 2012 and 2013, the latest Unibody and Retina were both released.
Now, I will speak in tremendous detail of the world’s highest revolution notebook, “The Mac Book Pro with Retina Display.”
With fast and reliable storage technology, a nice compact and super slim 15-inch model, it not only captures the look, but with its innumerable features the world is in awe, because with this notebook, it can’t do things other notebooks can. No other notebook is built to work like that either. That is why it’s the best. The Retina Display, is extremely thin, light, powerful in many ways and very time-efficient. This notebook was built for speed, power and uses less space. This notebook is the highest-performance Mac Book Pro model’s ever made. There’s something new to discover and explore, within every second. The design for this model is also incredible, and its unique difference is what’s ready to be used for the future. It’s capable of many things, and it’s portable to carry around anywhere. Even though there are many components, the system is organized and designed to stay on track respectively. And that’s called amazing technology.

As you've mentioned, we have come a long way in terms of laptops/Mac books. Where do you think we can go from here? How might we change as a result?
ReplyDeleteWell, I personally feel that the creaters of Mac/laptops concept will be further deepened. Because we already have so much advanced technology, (and we live in a tech-savvy environment) and this laptop is really simple and easy to use, still, not everyone uses the new advanced technology, we are still currently in the society of old-school and a mix of newer technology. I feel that we can go even further, however it will widely affect the people using these handy technological resources. Unfortunately, if the world can't control the time and be responsible with these devices, then honestly, what is the point of creating such a device? We, humans can start to get really lazy and result into serious health problems just from using super-advanced technology. I like how our world is becoming simplier in terms of all technology in general, but not many people make smart choices or maintain the time limit using these sources. This is my opinion of our future.
DeleteWhy is the Retina Display so special? Is it because it is clear and colourful? But did the makers of Apple's Retina display consider the stress level the screen has on human eyes? I think the companies should make displays that do not harm eyes because as more devices are being made and used, more and more harm is made to the eyes. Eyes are precious, and once you done damage to them, you can't undo it.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Grace, many people these days are getting serious health problems such as stress level on eyes, radiation etc. So do you think that the makers should consider these health problems while making new technologies such as the Mac Book Pro? Also, do you think that the makers should work on the health problems affecting humans,or making the form of technology better and more efficient?
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Riya and Grace, your eyes are one of the most priceless components of your body, hence they are worth much more than simply having clear and crisp images on your device. I did some research pertaining to this health issue and I was inundated by countless blog entries by individuals complaining about various health problems (e.g. eye strains, fatigue, migraines, etc) that they were experiencing while looking at Apple retina display screens for long periods of time. Even I have a number of friends that complain of eye sensitivity post working with an Apple device. In response to your question Riya, the makers of Apple products will have to focus on minimizing health problems while creating their goods since it is an inevitable part of making their technology better and more efficient (since if products cause health concerns then why would anyone want to use them?) However, no matter how safe Apple products are made, people will still have to use them with appropriate time frames, something that many struggle to do in this day and age. Remember, everything is good only in moderation, be it technology or work.
DeleteExcellent points, Grace and Riya. Priya, thank you for answering those questions, I am just going to touch base a little on what all of you said. I completely agree, that our eyes can paint a picture in this world and is one of the most important parts of our bodies. And yes, the better technology gets, the outcome is, the more lazier we get which does lead to severe health problems. However, Priya you mentioned how several people and friends complain about the long-periods of time spent with the Retina Display (due to fatigue, itchy watery eyes etc)but why would they use this device for such a long time anyways? Technology should be used appropriately, at the correct time and place. NOT every time and everywhere. Besides, I strongly feel once Apple makers creates a new product and before it goes out to the market, it should definitely be tested at health clinics to make sure that this product is safe to use and ready to sell. Otherwise, there would be complainers and more people with serious health issues, and believe me, nobody has time for that. Obviously the makers of not just the Retina Display but other products, should all consider the pros and cons of their products, and really think that is this wise, or safe to use and balance these ideas out, while also considering that is it a health issue or not. And if it wasn't, then many consumers would be unhappy with the business, or company and it would go down for bad publicity. Great questions guys, thanks for bringing it up :D
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question of why many people use tech devices for huge time periods, its all due to our increasingly addictive digital world. I'm sure all of us stared at our smartphone or laptop screen for over the appropriate time period at least one point in our life, if not more. I personally have done so as well. This is not only due to the fact that much of our school/job work may require tech usage but also our overpowering compulsion to regularly check on and maintain our social network via the web. This of course applies more often to the teen demographic.
DeleteThank You Priya and Samia for answering my question. All the points you both listed were very true. I hope that not only Apple but all the other electronic companies out there consider the health problems before launching a product. You should also use technology wisely, to prevent health problems.
